(They're going to go through all the work of creating a stampede and Storm Pack aren't even going to be still in camp by that time. )
~Midnight's muzzle spread into a wolfish grin. "Then you know exactly what we're going to do." Without a second thought, Midnight bounded atop the Leader's Boulder effortlessly and let out a jubilant howl. "The fleetest of River Pack, to me! We have a development!"~

~Ash approached the other seated dogs, wondering if she would be considered fleet. Shrugging, she settled down beside Apple and gave Apple a befuddled shrug.~
~Hawk stalked up from the back of the group and sat down at the edge of the muttering dogs, eyes narrowed in anticipation.~
~"Canines of River Pack," Midnight began slowly, then her voice rapidly accelerated for no direct reason. "As a distraction to get Storm Pack out into the open, we will be creating a stampede by manipulating the massive herd of deer that has been wandering these lands." Her keen eyes flicked from every seated dog in a matter of heartbeats. "Cephus, Apple, Phoenix, Ash, Hawk, Ember, Hollyshadow, Wind, Moonlight, and Raksha, you'll all be going to track this herd down right now, pinpoint their location- so you'll be able to ambush it tomorrow, at the break of dawn, and drive it into Storm Pack, rendering them open and vulnerable." She nodded at each chosen dog, grateful that she had so many incredibly athletic and healthy canines in the pack. There had been times where she'd been able to number every rib. "Do you all understand your task?"~

Raksha's tail began to wag in excitement. Yes, Alpha!" She barked. I get to scheme, and herd deer, and.... CHASE DEER!!" she thought silently, her lean shoulders beginning to tremble in sheer excitement.

~Midnight nodded to the fleet patrol. "Find them, but leave them be, and be back here by midnight," she barked, the sun now completely dipping out of view and letting the moon reign as hee voice ceased. "Go. Go now!"~

Hollyshadow stopped dead, sniffing the air.She darted forward and through a couple bushes, her lilth coyote body easily slipped through.She glanced at the ground.Hoof marks, driven deep into the ground.
