>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

~Calamitypup beamed up at Shadow, once again oblivious to underlying tension of any sort.~
~Mink watched Duskypup and Dotpup exchange formalities with a satisfied smile. Well, the little pup has got a friend now- a temporary one, but a friend alas.
~Dotpup dipped her head in the customary respect to a higher-ranking canine, though the other pup couldn't be more than a moon older than her. "I'm Dotpup," she woofed, her own tail waving slightly in spite of herself. "It's nice to meet you, Duskypup."~

(A longer lasting friend than you'd imagine, Mink. Mwuahahaha.....)

Duskypup's tail began to actually wag. "Wanna play?" She yipped, dropping down to her chest in a play-bow.

Opal heard the howl, her ears perked up and alert. Tears now streaming from her eyes, she ran towards the sound of despair, of anguish, of want. She knew who had sounded that howl, and what he wanted. And she wanted what he did. Opal sprinted faster than she had ever done before, through the brush. Her head looked feverishly around, his scent blaring as she got closer. And that's when he saw him. Her eyes lit up in the dark, gleaming with tears within them. She trotted slowly towards him, truly wanting to jump on him in joy.

Flint growled in his sleep and exploded out of the thicket. "I'll get you, you stupid fox!" He snarled viciously. He looked around, and a wave of embarrassment washed over him as he realized it was a dream. "Sorry Opal, if I woke you up," hr whispered, turning around to see it'd he had. "Opal!" He barked in shock, seeing she wasn't in his den. "Opal! Opal!" Her called desperately, putting his nose to the ground to find her scent. "Where?.... What?" He growled, confused. He stood up straight and began to run in the direction of her scent.

I think the river pack patrol that went to find the deerherd in Storm pack just got back, and the star howls about to start.... I think. Been awhile since I RPed River pack. :/

2%, night! :barnie

~Jasper's muzzle lowered as a shape bolted toward him. The lithe, dainty frame...
It couldn't be.
Emotion welled up in his throat and the temptation of letting loose a full-out jubilant howl usually reserved for a massively successfully hunt was overwhelming. Her eyes shone absolute silver against the full moon as she covered the last few fox-lengths go him. "Opal," Jasper muttered rapturously, his tail arching into a flagging wag. "Opal!"
Jasper tensed as she was about to barrel into him; an eerie howl rebounded. Jasper drew up to his full height and stiffened warily. "Is that someone you know?"~
