~Ash let her own howl die off, her mane lowering back onto her neck. Her keen eyes traveled the undergrowth, as if it would provide an answer for Storm Pack's unnerving silence.~

Antler's heart pounded in his broad chest, its banging racking his skull. He closed his eyes and bared his teeth, calming himself, then stood up straight, watching the vague shadow that suggested Alpha was still there.

~Dark Storm, finally permissing the unbearable flood of instincts to burst, inexorably lifted his massive muzzle to the tilt that would release a serenade of betrayal, a song of lies, a keen of murder.....
Eyes glinting an impossible blackened orange against the uninhibited light of the full moon, Dark Storm howled.~

~Hawk's eyes flashed white with exploding terror as a lone howl erupted from what seemed a mere fox-length away from his own tail. He backed away into the throng of River Pack Howlers, the typical mortification at betraying fear in front of his packmates completely abolished.~
