>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

~Riptide let out a roar of incanine proportions and ripped the dead coyote's eyes out, one by one, then tore both ears clear from his head. "Dotpup...will... NEVER... be... yours," he snarled to the carcass, swaying unsteadily. He remained in a crouch stance, his wild eyes flicking to and fro from his enemy as though he might arise from the dust and attack at any moment. Blood spewed from his jaws, and he abruptly staggered in a circle, muttering an eerie inaudible chant. He completely failed to notice the massive she-coyote advancing on him, and continued his maniacal mutterings. Abruptly, as though nothing evil had ever transpired, Riptide straightened and smiled an oddly calm grin, completely mollified, before whirling around and yelping as he was attacked.~

(Oh my goodness. :thJust.... wow. XD)

(Or do you mean easier to stomach... *innocent smirk*)

~Calamitypup let a sympathetic whimper drift up from the back of her throat. "And I simply can't seem to get anything right," she muttered, failing at a previously formed plan of lighthearted sarcasm. "No, she definitely didn't think. There's death out there and she ran toward it." Calamitypup ran her tongue along the edge of her lips, and fell silent.~

~Dotpup crept to the edge of the den, opposite of the belle coyote, whose attention was conveniently directed solely out into the battle. Dotpup crept slowly out into the sunlight and instantly felt sick to her stomach. Already, bodies were littering the camp and the plain grass was slicked red with blood. But, what abhorred her the most, was the sight of her own father, ripping into the carcass of what seemed to have been a coyote. Dotpup stretched farther up, although her mind screamed at her to stay down, in an attempt to get a glimpse of his calm eyes, of anything that remained of the father she knew.
When she saw his eyes, Dotpup felt a rush of terror comparable to that when the turtle had dragged her under.
Barely suppressing a squeak, Dotpup scrabbled back into the den, her eyes wild with a fear so great it didn't need to be voiced.~

Duskypup managed a chuckle at her friend, who in all reality was more like a sister.
Duskypup looked over and saw Dotpup, eyes wild with fear, quickly backing up from the wall of the den. She stood up, waiting for something to jump out of the thick barrier. "You okay?" she queried.

(Rip)
Brindlepup slipped quickly out of the den, suddenly nervous at how much closer the fight seemed without the den wall standing between it and her. She looked around for an opponent small enough for her to handle.

Coal's eyes slid icily around the battleground, looking for another dog to fight....
...to kill...
That wouldn't be easy. She noticed a massive, white coyote-looking dog with thick fur, but just past him sat...
"A pup!"
A pup! A pup that she could kill as payment to the dog who took Dotpup!
Her elegant, yet ultimately massive head settled just below her shoulders and she stalked forward. Casually she cast a glance to her right and spotted Sunrise. She vaguely remembered the red-orange dog helping her dispatch her first kill, and decided that assistance from another dog would make killing the innocent pup so much more unfair than it already would be. "Sunrise!" she barked sharply, carrying her voice over the barks and snarls of war to the other dog's ears. "Here" she growled, nodding towards the pup.

Shadow continued to fight Streak. (#boringpost)
Reed kicked River away from him and jumped over her, then attacked from behind. (#notQUITEasboringpost)

~Stream backed away, and attempted to put weight on her leg. The explosion of resulting pain robbed her control of her body and she nearly blacked out. I'm done, she realized with a terribly ashamed jolt. If I try to fight with this... I'm dead. Eyes smouldering, she darted forward and made a few more useless swipes. She noted, out of the corner of her eye, with incredible guilt, how her Alpha, mate, and sister were all inexhaustible in their battle efforts. "You win, wolf," Stream snarled, punctuation her words with a flourish of spitting blood at her paws. Head held as high as possible, Stream turned around toward her own territory and fled, dragging her useless leg as though it weighed as much as a boulder. Her blood steamed out in a scarlet trail, so simply easy to track. She bit down on her lip, and did her best to bolt, stumbling more than she ran. "Lily!" she called out weakly as she limped inside the border, her limbs trembling with the exhaustion brought on by blood loss. She slowly slid into a crawl, finally collapsing a few fox-lengths just outside of Canyon Pack camp. "I need help."~

(Storm)
Hawkeye stared after Stream, not even trying to pursue her. He knew he had won, and he had no intent to kill anyone if he didn't have to. He then turned back toward the battle and looked for a new opponent.
(Awesome possum)
Shadow braced her front paws and allowed Streak to push her hindquarters around. She grabbed his back leg and yanked it out from under him.
(Canyon)
Streak almost fell, but right before he hit the ground he sprang up using his front legs and whirled around, snapping at Shadow.

Scar's teeth met with Riptide's shoulder, and she violently began scratching him with her claws. YOU WILL PAY FOR KILLING MY DAUGHTER!

Shadow reared on her hind legs and smacked Streak in the face, aiming just above his eyes so blood would blind him.
