Eros stalked the fringes of the battlefield looking for an opponent. The smell of spilled blood perfumed the air with a metallic aroma... He saw a medium sized dog, about 3/4 his size.
He charged toward the dog without hesitation. This should be a easy fight, he thought to himself. He rammed into the dog.

"Hey!", snarled the Tennessee Treeing Brindle known as Nash, "you'll pay for that!" Nash swirled around and bit Eros' flank. Tasting the sweet taste of blood flow over his taste buds...

Eros clenched his teeth in pain. He shook the dog from his flank and swiveled to face his opponent. "What pack are you from, you flea-bitten, mousebrain?!", he snarled.

"Storm", Nash replied without another thought, still eyeing his bigger opponent, analysing his stance.

"Huh, I should've known... I can smell the stench of your pack.", Eros snapped as he lunged towards Nash once again. "What's your name?"
~
Nash dodged the massive Estrela coming toward him. "Nash", he replied swiftly, trying to hide the slightest bit of anguish of his notail name. "How about a little less talk, and some more action?"
~
"Huh, sounds notail... If I throw a stick, will you go get it?", Eros growled with the slight smirk.
~
Focus on the task at hand... Don't let him get to you... Nash reared up on his back legs and came down on his attacker, biting the scruff of his neck. The taste of blood energized Nash. It was a fuel to his internal flame.

Eros shook wildly to get Nash of his back. "GET OFF!", Eros shouted. With drops of blood beading from the back of his neck, the mighty Estrela rolled over onto his opponent.
~
The wind had gotten knocked out of Nash. He gasped for air. Blood dripping from his teeth, he licked it off. He stood again, ready to face Eros.
~
Eros ran up to Nash, sliding behind him bitting his leg. Crimson red began falling from Nash's leg.
~
Nash howled in pain as the mighty mountain dog clamped down on his leg. Barring his teeth in excruciating pain. He kicked, and kicked. Until Eros loosened his grip in order for him to get free. The four puncture holes had turned into four big, long, deep gashes pouring blood.

Nash howled in excruciating pain. "You'll pay, River packer...", Nash growled through barred teeth. Nash circled Eros, limping.

What's this fool doing?.. "Fool, you're going to die anyway...", Eros growled. He lunged toward Nash grabbing onto his spine. The mighty mountain dog clamped down on his backbone.
~
Nash felt everything go numb. Like he had no body, he was just floating. "What... What'd you do to me?!", Nash barked through restricted lungs. "This isn't happening... This isn't happening...", Nash slowly muttered.
~
"Remember Storm scum, I'm doing you a favor.", Eros lunged for his neck. Nash's jugular vein burst... Blood leaked from his neck. Eros turned to walk away. He looked back at the smaller cattle dog. A favor... He thought. Erost turned and walked into the thicket.

Blaze flinched hard, but forced himself to allow RD to continue ripping his ear to shreds so he could attack. He grabbed RD's paw and bit down hard. With a sharp twist, he felt at least three bones crack.
