>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

Shadow pelted through the forest, barely registering her surroundings beyond noticing the occasional log that lay in her path. Duskypup panted desperately at her side, running for all she was worth and then some. Shadow could smell the fear-scent that cloaked her and the two pups who she had charged herself with protecting.

Suddenly a wall of Canyon pack scent flooded her nostrils, and she skidded to a stop, almost running straight into a massive boulder. She set down Dotpup and leaned against it's solid, cool surface, lungs burning for fresh air. As the feverish heat she had worked up slowly drained into the Boulder's cold surface, her adrenaline began to fade. She looked down at Duskypup, who had collapsed into the sandy soil and was trying to recover her breath. Watching her young daughter, her thoughts began to clear.

Had she done the right thing?

Was leaving Rip pack really the best decision she could've made?

Now that she had left, there was no going back... If Reed didn't kill her on first sight, then someone else would. The thought made her sick to her stomach; she closed her eyes, trying to slow the flood of memories she had in Rip pack.

But she couldn't go back. That was the only thing she was sure of.

So she might as well keep going forward.

"You alright, Duskypup?" She barked hoarsely.
The dust-colored mutt exhaled a particularly deep breath. "I will be," she coughed, rolling back to her belly and then rising to her feet.
Shadow sighed, almost wistfully, and reached down to give Dotpup a comforting lick. "We're taking you home, pup," she murmured comfortingly, as only a mother could.

And with that, she scooped up the little canyon scrap, turned towards where the scent was strongest, and walked away from Rip pack for good.

That was refreshing to read. :clap

(0_0 Amazing! Wait, killer of canyon packers is going to join canyon pack?)
Redfern was still staring at his adopted brothers ripped pelt, numb to everything. A cold breeze kicked up, bringing with it a scent he remembered all to well. his head snapped up "I smell an intruder." he barked

Thrush spread the cobwebs over yet another bloody scrape. "So, Canyon Packer, what're you doing here instead of at your camp? I hear something happened to your leader." He barked casually.

@Frost bite88, am I right?
#2. Canyon Pack is supposed to be 90% dogs.
We've already got four wolves, in it....so.... if you could somehow edit Ember... :p

Otherwise,
WELCOME TO THE MOST DISORGANIZED ROLEPLAY IN THE PIXELATED UNIVERSE. :D

Welcome Jet! But I think @Frost bite88 has a dog named Ember :/

Do they? Welp, that's my OC gone :/
(I checked the member page, there is a River packer named Ember owned by Frost bite88. If you want a similar name, I think Soot, Charcoal, and Fiery aren't taken yet.)

He shrugged, watching a crab skitter across the sand. "I like my personal space. Mostly to get away from the drama." Then he glanced to the mostly-dead body, "Which, unfortunately, didn't work this time."
