These chicks are actually EEs not ameraucanas. Your are very pretty I have one that looks just like yor first one, but it has feathered feet, because i croosed one of my EE hens with my buff brahma roo. In my opinion they are still too young to tell age. Good Luck.

I didn't mean to come across as defensive; I was just explaining my reasoning. I actually called the lady I got them from and asked if they still counted as 'caunas, and she said they did, but I was still skeptical. I debated with myself as to exactly what to call them, and settled on not referring to them as EEs just because EE could be any mix of anything, as long as the eggs have the blue pigment. Curse you internet, and your lack of audio inflection! <I said that with a fake British accent, but really, there's no way for you to know that. Until now, I suppose...)
 
I'd say too small. Unless you've got others of the same age to compare it to. That was my benchmark; a few had very different looking combs.
