Well, it was a terrible thunderstorm with thunder that shook my house and lighting made it hard to see
I totally agree with you moving them back inside today (and for the rest of the week due to the weather), I'm taking about the next time you try moving them outside. Sorry if I didn't word it right. I used to live on the East coast so I know just how bad those summer storms can get!
 
Ok so I replied on the other thread before seeing this. The thunderstorm isn't an issue, the setup might be. A 15 sq ft coop isn't much space to do integration. How many chicks, how many adults, have they spent time with each other before? Any photos of the setup? I would NOT lock the chicks+ adults in a small coop without some avenue of escape unless they've already spent time with the adults and you know for sure the adults won't attack them or chase them outside.

Also do not mix the adult food with chick food. If you don't have a 2nd feeder to feed them separately then put them all on the chicks food. The babies shouldn't be eating layer yet. If you're feeding an all flock type feed then make it easier on yourself and have the chicks on all flock too.
