A little embarrassing, but how can I get my drake to stop trying to “mate” me?????????

No, I did n’t try that. It hard because it’s usually when I’m in the backyard, and we don’t have a hoes there!
I've never related more!! Mine is 2 year old Indian runner and it's only me he goes for! Water doesn't faze him, he loves it! Picking him up and yeeting him just makes him come back with a fury. Sad to say but I have a method I'm not proud of. To keep him from biting and bruising my legs and arms I let him latch on to my finger and slide a croc under him(heel first). It takes only a minute and he falls over dead like! (Don't need to explain why) Then he leaves me alone to do yard work for an hour. Then repeat. Simply from one embarrassed duck owner to another! Sincerly croc queen!

I may try that!!! Thank you! He’s getting a little better, but still goes after me and it hurts when he does!!!

I love Dwayne (my drake), but spring/summer time when his mate is nesting is horrible for me and only me!! The bruises are horrible looking and I love wearing my shorts and hate explaining how I got them lol. I figure/hope it's just adolescent hormones and it fades as the years go by. They have a life span of 18 years, 2 down and 16 to go.

My rooster used to do this. Until he found upturned bowls... Or twigs.... He loved them!
Trying not to visualize this.
