Hello all! I am new to BYC and I was hoping someone could help me identify some ducks I bought at Atwoods. The salesperson said she didn't know the breeds because they just ordered assortments from Ideal.

Here's a picture of the group. I know the big white one is a Peking and I think the other white one and the one in the far back are runners.

This is a closer pic of the other white one which I think is a fawn and white runner

Here's a closer pic of the black one that I think is a runner.

. Pretty sure this one is a black Swedish.

I'm thinking this one is a Cayuga.

. This one I am just not sure about. As a baby it was black with a yellow bib but it lost almost all the bib so that all that is left is a few white feathers on the front. Would this duck still be considered a black Swedish with just a very "bad" bib?

Here's one final picture of the group and my two goslings.

Just for fun here are my babies. I ordered them from Stromberg's and they are just over 3 weeks old. 5 mallards, 5 Khaki Campbell's, and 6 blue Swedish.

Thanks for any help anyone can give in identifying my ducks!

I believe you are correct on all accounts. :) Hatchery quality might explain the poor bib on the one probable Swedish, and the lower stance in the runners. So much cute in one post!

I'm 100% sure the white and black one are runners. I have two white ones and they LOVE to littlerly RUN after you. :)

The one that you say had a yellow bib as a baby is most likely a cuyoga as well. I have several of them, the last batch that I hatched were all born with yellow bibs which disappeared as they got older..when they got their adult feathers and the beatle green the white feathers went away.

Thanks ShayBaby and Kristin! I have been researching like crazy trying to nail down what these guys were.
Kristin - the runners are hilarious when the run after you. I didn't too much like them at first but they really grew on me. They are so darn cute when the coming running from across the yard at feeding time! :)

It was really cold outside when we got them so we kept them inside for the first couple weeks and we could put them in the kitchen floor and they would chase our yorkie around the kitchen table!

Oh now that is precious!

Shicks0211 - good to know. They are still fairly young and haven't completely gotten all their feathers. It will be interesting to see if they loose the few white feathers.
