Ok so we hatched chicks in October and now they are old enough that they are with the adult chickens and eating adult food.
Problem is I still have about a bag and a half of chick feed left. They grew out of it faster than i expected.
I'd hate to take the bag back to the store, but i don't want to waste food either. I know you can't feed adult feed to little chicks but what about the other way around?
Would it be ok if i mixed the chick feed in with the adult feed until it was gone?

Yep, it's fine to give starter or grower to your flock. That's basically what I feed my entire flock and offer oyster shell on the side for the layers to self supplement their calcium.
