a mighty miget

we hade a chick name mighty miget,
he died last night to a copper head,
he started crowing at 2 month that,
why he was named mighty miget.

the snake was 5'8 feet long with out the head.

Sorry bout the chick, I have gotten to were I kill snakes everytime I see one. However the only thing that controls any animal, is their instinct. God I believe created them, but everything acts according to it's own will...which is to survive.

We've killed 3 bull snakes in/around our chicken coop in the last 2 weeks.

We killed a chicken snake about 4 feet long who was lurking under the porch. If we didn't have chickens I'd leave it be (he'll run off the poisonous snakes) but he had to go. I'm sorry to hear that the copperhead got your chicken! and glad that the snake didn't get you or your human family. /hugs
