A mysterious little red hen decided to adopt our family (a very cute true story)

Last Monday when I went to feed my ducks breakfast like usual, I was very surprised to find a petite little red hen in there chilling with my ducks. I thought maybe she was a surprise from my boyfriend, but he said no and sounded as surprised as I was.

How this adorable little chicken found us is a mystery, but wherever she came from she must have seen my ducks and thought 'These guys have it good, I want in!' and hopped into the fence .

And so I was adoped by a little red hen. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Thank you everyone . I am visiting with family today, but I will be sure to post some pictures of her tomorrow. She is the cutest little chicken I have ever met (and I've met plenty of cute chickens.) She is so sassy, full of personality, and struts around like she's the new sheriff in town . When I pass out treats, my ducks are always bumping into eachother trying to hog up all the fruit for themselves, but they all act very respectful to her...even my macho alpha Saxony drake
