A New Life ~RP~

Skylar shook her head, but didn't question further.
"I hope it's... something along the lines of Caesar salad, and eggplant Parmesan," Skylar replied wistfully.
Diana raised an eyebrow and smiled "Anything I don't have to cook myself would be good"

"Same." Skylar sighed dramatically, and slumped in her seat. "I almost burned my mom's curtains once, while attempting to cook."

Meanwhile, Lark was slumped against the outside of the building, tears brimming her big brown eyes. She was slumped down in her worn leather jacket, hands shoved in the back pockets of her ratty skinny jeans.

"Oh," Skylar said, turning away.

"The first few tries are the hardest, if it is something you want to do, try again until you get it." Diana said softly. She looked around the room and sighed. She tied Dawn's leash to her bag and stood giving the pup a stay, guard signal "Call me crazy, but I am going to see where Lark went"

Diana grinned "Probably" She laughed softly and turned to the door she had watched Lark walk through before. She exited and looked around
Lark was leaned against the side of the building. When she heard the door slam, she stood up and began to run, towards the mountain in the distance.

"Wait" Diana called out as loudly as she could
Lark, when she ran with her gang, had learned how to be stealth and fast. She ran lightly over the tall grass, Outlaw by her side. She was barely winded, as she had done a lot of running, some for her life, in all of her sixteen years. There were thick woods ahead, and that was her aim.
