A new way to watch a chicken embryo grow( Starts 1/20/10)

I agree that this does sound like it's not gonna work...Possibly the embryo will grow for a while, but what about when it's ready to hatch?
Other than that, I would say this is a VERY interesting idea...

Good luck and even if this doesn't work, it's a very interesting experiment to try. Hey, maybe you might just cause a new break through in the way chicken eggs are incubated. You never know!

when it gets near day 18 the bag will be open to let air in and the chick will be cover (except the beak) with a wet warm paper towel so it doesn’t dry out, and watched very closely.

This is awesome. I hope it works!

If it doesn't, maybe next time you could try leaving much less air space and putting the bag in a cup of an egg carton, to more closely simulate the shape it would be in the egg and to minimize sloshing around, which wouldn't normally happen in an egg.

Good Luck, I'll be following!

this is only a test egg its not fertile right now im only trying to see if the egg will dry out if it does this test will be over, but if it work then i'll get the Kordon bag and put a fertile one in there.
