Hi.
Being new to incubating chook eggs, I was wondering how others set their eggs in the incubator, vertical, pointy end down or horizontal, laying on their sides and why please ?

In nature they would be on their sides but I use an egg turner so I store them pointy end down. Why? Because that puts the larger air sac at the top. They break into this air sac shortly before pipping.
