A remark that deflates me like a popped balloon

I agree with Imp...they only say something once and then they are shown where the driveway is and invited to stay at the far end of it....with a no return designation.

I will not tolerate it. It is my life, my money, my time and my love for animals ....who are all healthy, happy and well cared provided for.

i get this from my snotty mother in law... i give her the big whatever.

people are weird. all of our animals and happy, well fed, and well housed. and we've taken in lots of animals who have been 'dumped.' we feel like we are doing our part to clean up after others.

dont let it get to you.

Lol I know how you feel. I am pregnant with my SECOND child, and my mother and my MIL are insisting I get my tubes tied

I mean come on! My first is going to be 3 in August, it 's not like I got pregnant again right after having her. Anytime I talk about this next one, it's "you really should get your tubes tied, you are going to be in the hospital any way." Etc. And if you think that is bad you should have heard their rants about me getting 14 chickens! You would think it was the end of the world! I am 26, 27 in Novemeber, but you would think I was an irresponsible teenager with those 2

some elderly people have nerve.. most come from or have huge families... also when I was pregnant with my first child I was 19 ... I was sitting in the waiting room at the ob when this elderly lady was talking to her friend looked at me and said some people just don't know how to say no... I admit i look way younger than my age... i looked back at her and said some people need to keep their nose in their own business because I am older than i look...I got married at 18... my mom had my sister at 17almost 18) she got married 4 days after she turned 16. she got less slack than i did...
I stopped haveing children after my 3rd child ... its not like i have10 kids...

I used to get the "When are you having kids" from DH family. My response would always be when would you pay for them, or that I already have kids (2 dogs, 2 cats). Now that we have the chickens they are less than thrilled (excepts the little ones) But hey I have always been the farm girl and always told my mom I would have a farm some day. They can't say I never warned them.

I went from 2 ducks to 6 in less than a year. Muscovies are awesomely sweet, have a khaki campbell that's beautiful and 3 call ducks that are just too little and precious.

Can you tell I'm an enabler....?

Sister-in-law came by the other day, don't see her that often, (thank-god!) and she made a snotty comment in a low voice.

She said "It looks like Noah's arc exploded on this property"
