A Roo or two?

    Is my crowing silkie a hen or roo? The one on the left looks like a Roo yet the one on the right actually crows (though I've read this does happen in hens) any ideas? [​IMG]

    Well phooey Lol the one on the right had such a smaller comb than the one on the left. Guess I got to find me little girl or four Lol thank you

    Agreed. Hens do crow on rare occasions, but it's almost always a hen that's over 2 years old and has assumed the role of the rooster in a roosterless flock. Sorry. :eek:(
