I have a 15-year-old and I think owning chickens is a great experience for her I love how she asked you. You are definitely at the right place for good chicken info and input. Everyone here is great and supportive

I think it's great how she did research before hand. Most teenagers just think of baby chicks in love how cute they are but it sounds like she's pretty serious about this. I admire her for that
