A Thread Just For Unknown Breeds/Genders!

Keesmom, they are from Meyers Hatchery. All the chicks I received came in great. It wasn't till the white mystery bird started getting it's wings, that I counted it's toes and realized my birds didn't add up. I will have to call them. Not sure if this happens often, or if I just got "lucky" lol

I'm thinking partridge Rocks.

Thank you! After looking at some pictures I think you are probably right!

Anybody want them?

The darker chick doesn't really have any comb at all yet....I do really want a Golden Laced Wyandotte, so if it turns out to be that, I'll be SOOOO thrilled! Thank you for your help, keesmom.

They've been happy girls all day today and they let me hold them 4 times today! So I'm getting started with socialization.

The yellow ones that look like they have black vests on and black spots on the back of their heads. They were in straight run assorted bantam mix at TSC. No idea what any of them are, but they are the only ones I can't seem to guess at

Rooster? I have pure bred Dominique chicks and this ones wings are much different. They're only two weeks barely so I'm trying to decide if it's a rooster or has a wing issue?

Where did you get them from?

What it looks like to me is that they/ it is carrying a lot of the fast feathering gene (more than it should).
