A Tribute to our gone but never forgotten Ducks..

Penelope never really recovered after brooding her last hatch. She was old I believe. Her last day she was fine and just as Bossy as ever. I'm glad my last memory of her is eating lettuce, sun tanning and telling Poppy off..:gig
She went back to the Run and ate supper as usual. Nothing was wrong. I'm glad I found her looking like she was sleeping. I felt more upset for Pandora her Daughter. :th

I'm so sorry you lost Penelope. It's a horrible feeling to lose something you've had and loved for so long :hugs:hugs I'll never Forget my sweet Gimpy duck Hiccup. She had somehow managed to break her foot and bled out. Bawled my eyes out for the next 3 days. It was awful finding her half dead and having to put her down :hit She was one of my first original ducks as well.. Never ran away from me and was always the first one to greet me outside~
