Faith hatched 2011 I lost her in 2014 from egg laying complications . She was a great scovy mama and duck here at our hobby farm![]()
Sorry for your loss.Sorry for your loss.I'm so sorry you lost Penelope. It's a horrible feeling to lose something you've had and loved for so longI'll never Forget my sweet Gimpy duck Hiccup. She had somehow managed to break her foot and bled out. Bawled my eyes out for the next 3 days. It was awful finding her half dead and having to put her down
She was one of my first original ducks as well.. Never ran away from me and was always the first one to greet me outside~

Thanks.Yours too @casportpony I do remember when you lost Kenny he was a beautiful boy.![]()
. It's been over a year now and I still think about him every day.
Hello...I'm terribly heartbroken at the loss of my Sweet Call Hen Penelope.
I know others have suffered too. If anyone wants to post pictures and stories about their amazing Ducks that have crossed over Rainbow Bridge please free to post here.
This is Penelope my first Call Hen. She was exceptional in my eyes. A great mother, knew her name. She was leader in my Flock. She passed away in her sleep with her daughter by her side. She was possibly 5.5 years although I think a bit older...Buried her next to her Run so she is always with her Flock.View attachment 1572385View attachment 1572386View attachment 1572387View attachment 1572388View attachment 1572389

I’m so sorry for your loss! She was lovely! Prior to acquiring the two Muscovies, Daphne had a Pekin “sister” called Margie. She was very sweet, not even remotely intelligent, and Daphne loved her to bits (although Daphne was clearly the boss). Margie passed away this summer after a brief unknown illness.

Oh such a beautiful girl. I am so sorry for your loss of her. Thank you for giving her such a good life.Hello...I'm terribly heartbroken at the loss of my Sweet Call Hen Penelope.
