In May, my new neighbors moved in and I greeted them standing on three feet of icy-hard "snow" that was still in the front yard. They parked their cars on it, for the longest time, in the front lawn. Almost none of the garden was useable because the season became so short, from the snow still on the ground, glacier-style

Not much ice where I was, it mostly turned to slush on the roads.

Last night we had the fireworks, HAPPY NEW YEAR BYC! Who wants to see the pictures I took? They turned out really cool.
