A very sad day.

Well this evening we found our not quite a year old cat stuck in a tree by the neighbors house in the wood. We found a few friends who had climbing gear to go up and get him. We took him to a vet and it was to late. He was stuck so Ling his muscles in his back legs dies. We had to put him to sleep.

His hind legs were hanging all day we suspect. We are thinking a coyote chased him up there. This sucks...

I'm ok just heart broken right now. He was a birthday present last year. Although we didn't find a kitten until after my birthday. My daughter is taking it hard to (15yrold)

I'm so sorry. It's never easy to lose a beloved pet, especially in such an unexpected way.

Most of the time they can. But he was wedged in a fork of the tree. His back legs wasn't in a position to touch the tree. I think if he was able to get his back legs to contact he might have been ok. But he was unable to
