~A Wisp of Sand~ a a desert cat tribe rp

(@LilPip21 haven't seen you in a while. Could Cobra reply to Oleander? And having Blue there would be useful. I will try and find the Oleander post.)

Beautiful Oleander strode into the clearing, the black tip of her tail twitching, Dire at her side. "This is wrong, why must you kill cats, for nothing," she whispered. "Families devastated, dying, and for what? You as a leader. Nobody wants you, but me. I love you, but I feel discarded, like a carcass."

"One more time I tell you!" she cried. "I do not want you to be leader, with me at your side. You disrespect me and our children! Why you killed our son! And for what? To impress who? One more death of a cat, and I'm leaving! I love you, but I can't take it, why must you do this?" She asked.

so sorry I haven't been on!) Cobra sat, completely still for a moment. Then, due to the more favorable light that had been shed on the tribe and its abundance, he concluded to be in one of his more patient moods. "Your not a carcass!" He soothed, laying his tail across her shoulders. At her look his kindness withdrew, as well as the gesture. "You never understood. The snapping river tribe is as strong as it's ever been, especially with those traitors gone!" His narrowed gaze flicked to the other to cats for a moment, before turning back to his mate. "You must understand, those cats, they would have ruined us all..I did it to protect us.. to protect you." His voice softened again. "I love you..but you say no one wants me..why must you lie so much?" His looked down at her pityingly, as if such a poor creature was not strong enough in mind to see the truth. He was about to go on, but a the hunting party slunk into the clearing suddenly, their eyes not daring to be raised to his perch. As they should be. His lip curled suddenly as no trace of meat could be found upon them. "Why have you returned?" He called, satisfaction curling around him as they all started back in grimace. ".. moss was hurt.. and we've been looking all day.. we just thou-" "you come back with nothing but a broken leg?!" Cobras black fur grew hot. How ungrateful could mewling rats become? "Leave now, and don't come back until you find prey, do you want us all to starve?" The mangy cats slunk away, one dragging his paw behind him. He felt needles dig into his pelt, his nurturing mood spoiled. He lashed his tail, his angry gaze flitting over oleander and the others. "Go, I don't wish to talk of this any longer. And leave the birds, we don't have prey to spare for flattery. (Anything I need to catch up on?) blue sniffed, looking around at the wiry Tribecats around him as he plotted his escape.

Oleander said "This proves it. You kill our son, and deny our tribe mates. Tell me one reason I should stay, I want to! But I can't find one. I don't even know if my children are alive! They have to hide from you!" She twitched her tail and backed away a few feet. She turned and looked at her mate, her handsome mate who she used to love. "Do you even love me? What do you want me for?" But she realized he had dismissed her, like some kind of servant he wanted some times, and now he wanted her out of his sight. That does it, I'm leaving! I just hope that weird Shiloh cat is as good as he says. She ran away, running, running, through the jungle in the night. She clawed her way through dense, dangerous areas, and found a hollow in a tree in which she could hide.

(Shiloh got to Thunderer Tribe. Plus it is night time)

Cobra watched her go. She's done this before.. she'll get over it. Yet, angry words boiled on his tongue. He knew she was leaving. Your trying to manipulate me. You think your little tantrum will make me grovel for you, change my mind. I'm not weak like the miserable lice that have come before me oldeander! I am leader! The only leader! He waved his tail beckoning to one of his warriors. "Find her.. and if she tries to betray us, then cut her down." He murmured. His conscience, which so rarely showed its meek face, traced its soft claws along his throat. He thought about stopping his warrior, but he settled his jaw, instead focusing on the great streams of sunshine in the canopy.
