Abandoned babies on my step and I'm ignorant!

what a wonderful person to bring you chicks and now bring you supplies to make a coop!
Santa must of wanted to add a little extra something for you to try to cheer up!

I think Santa must be psychic! The fellow gave us the wood and wire before lunch, then after lunch when we went after nails and such someone left the babies! I tell you what though, they eat like little piggies!

They are so cute, and I'm sure you will become attached and enjoy them.
And I agree with the earlier post, they look to be about a week old.

Are the little naked neck ones supposed to have naked rear ends too? And the temp says 92 but they are panting, is that normal?

Panting means they're too warm, do they have a spot to go to out of the light/heat? They might also open their little wings and such to try cool off.
Turkens aren't supposed to have naked behinds.

place the lamp on a far end of the box so they can go to the other side to get away from the heat, try lifting the lamp a little, they say to take 5 degrees off for each week old they are, if they are a week old 90 should be good?
Ususally if they are all huddled together they are cold, if they are spread out evenly and look content they are perfect and if they are as far away from the lamp and panting like you mentioned they are probably to warm.
How are they drinking? Glad they are eating well!

Great, they have naked behinds,, wonder why? Yes they can get away, but now I'm wondering if it's far enough away. I'll work on that. Thank you!

They are drinking very well, the little grey one keeps trying to stand in the water though. I'm working on a different set up, or I'll be up all night waiting to see if they are panting!

I have heard to put some marbles in their water dish to prevent them from falling in and drowning.

Thank you, I'll do that!
