Orchid trekked through the jungle to the meeting place. She hadn't had any human interference, so she was generally confused and a bit annoyed about what was going on. Velveteen better have a good reason for calling this. She reached the edge of the meeting place, a large clearing, and looked around. Her jaw dropped. There were SO many cats! All different shapes and sizes. She saw the other betas sitting on a large, flat rock, and padded over to take her place beside them.

Velveteen was sitting on a large rock. Her black coat shining in the sun filtering through the trees. She looked over the other cats, domestic and wild and smiled. She roared, loud as she could to silence them. "We have gathered today to face a common enemy!" she screamed through the crowd.

Chandi, as Velveteen's friend was sitting beside her. He wasn't a cat, but he had helped her escape. His narrow, fox like face scrunched slightly at her roar.

Orchid flinched a bit, startled by Velveteen's loud voice. An enemy? Nobody told me about any enemies. "What enemy are you talking about?" She called over the heads of the gathered cats.

"Humans," Velveteen growled through clenched teeth, "They are stealing our homes, our children, our very lives!" her voice was full of emotion, having had a litter at the zoo and the zoo keepers having taken them so she wouldn't try to attack zoo guests, so they said.

Chandi understood her and rubbed against her leg, he had taken a special liking to one of the lady genets in his enclosure but the zoo had killed her because she had gotten aggressive once she got pregnant.

Physical Description: Very handsome, with light brown fur and a red-brown stripe on his back. He has a few white markings and stormy colored gray-blue eyes.
Personality Description: Is a very strong hunter/fighter, but doesn't fight if not necessary. He’s fairly kind to everyone one and gives them a fair chance.

Chandi scurried around, he was not a beta, but he had the privileges of a beta due to his part in helping Velveteen escape. He quickly caught a mouse and ate it. Then he scurried back up to his place beside Velveteen, fidgeting the whole time.
