Abandoned duck egg. Need help asap

It's dry being it wasn't in an incubator so with that said
you either assist a bit or wait. It looks ready to be helped to me...

Should it be done zipping in an hour from when it started or completely hatched out the shell? I have never actually watced a chick/duck hatch before.

I see no reason to help it yet. If it is actively pecking at the shell it's doing exactly what it needs to be doing.

It take a long time. I say wait and watch it works it's magic.

They can take many hours. I would not assist as long as it is still actively pecking.

There is humidity in there...just not sure how much I have a small bowl of water and the top is cling wrap I can see water on the top like a green house effect so it does have some moisture.
