Nothing has hatched yet, I think it'll be nearer to Monday since that'll be day 22.
Thanks, I'll update again on Monday if nothing changes until then. I hope that the humidity fluctuations don't affect the eggs that much.I hope something hatches. Give it a few more days![]()
Would I be able to hear anything through the incubator door or do I have to open it? I haven't noticed any noise but the humidifier is pretty loud (around 25%-30% but I don't know if I should bother raise it). Should I look for anything specific to find the pecking? Maybe I should stop turning it at this point, but I think there's only 2 or 3 that I've seen move, but I need a day or two to be certain of anything.Do you hear any cheaping or pecking? Mine hatched two days after the cheaping and pecking started.
This morning I turned every egg except the possible three that were (possibly) moving. I haven't checked on them that often today but I haven't seen them wiggling yet. Should I stop turning all the eggs so the temp doesn't dip? It only goes down about 4 degrees before I close the incubator again. If they were wiggling at all, it was very faint, so I think it'll be at least two more days.Mine started wiggling last night and they're due to hatch tomorrow. I generally see the wiggling the day after they go on lockdown. It's them getting into position for hatching. I'd stop turning them if I were you.

Edit: Forgot to mention that tomorrow is day 21 and gambel quails have an incubation period of 21-24 days, so I might not be wrong about seeing the eggs move. I just wasn't sure if my eyes were deceiving me haha
