Abnormal Poop?

Zebe's eyes are still swollen like ET's, but she is feeling a lot better. Unfortunately, she is feeling well enough to fight treatment, but still isn't eating or drinking on her own, so treatment is required. Her eyes don't seem to be responding to the Duramycin 72-200, so I have Tylan 50 on order from Amazon and it will be here tomorrow. Hopefully she will respond to that.

400

It may be hard to see as this was left on my patio by one of my girls. Is this shed intestinal lining or indication of something more serious??

I hope someone can hop in and help. You might want to start your own thread and see if it doesn't get some more replies.

Anyone that pops in and wants to know, I kept Zebe alive for 4 wks before swelling took over her throat and I had to put her down. I did an autopsy and determined that is was Marek's Disease based on the tumors I found throughout her little body.

Sorry for your loss, and it's good that you were able to find a cause, but sad that it may be Mareks. Avian lymphoid leukosis can cause tumors and decreased immunity to infections as Mareks does, but without the paralysis.

Welcome to BYC. I have seen this myself with healthy birds, but if any are acting lethargic, puffed up, or eating poorly, or if you see more bloody poops, then treat for coccidiosis with Corid (amprollium,) a cattle medicine. Here is a good link about coccidiosis: http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2012/12/coccidiosis-what-backyard-chicken.html
