1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? - 1.5 years ago. Started with 5 chickens & 1 rooster. Lost one to coon or weasel then lost our main chicken to a prolapse. Added 6 more girls and a new rooster (the old one was beautiful but way too mean to the girls)earlier this year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 17 chickens and 1 rooster
(3) What breeds do you have? a mix of plymouth rock, rhode island reds, Austrolop, 2 naked necks and 3 Easter eggers!!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Vege gardening, sewing, crocheting, playing the piano
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Retired, just bought this beautiful 78 acres in Idaho. Have 2 springer spaniels, 2 barn kittens, and just sold our first grass fed beef - so all the bovines are gone right now. We have them on the property for fire control of the weeds and grasses.
