I'm getting a GSP pup next spring, and have decided to build a chucker bird house with a small run and raise some birds for training my pup. I'm trying to find a housing plan that will work for the birds. I live in central Oregon south of Bend. Temps drop below freezing at -10* often. Heat tape for the watering system will be necessary. Maybe for the housing part as well. I might house +or-20 birds. Any info out there?
If it matters, I'm 80 years young. Like to hunt all critters. Fish a lot too.
