I would say try it out on a day that you can keep a close eye on them and check them often to make sure everybody is doing okay. I had issues a couple of times with my White rocks getting attacked by the others. I would check on them at night everybody was fine but in the morning bloody wings. So I pulled them out and applied antiseptic to the wings, then kept them separated for about a week then tried again. Everything okay for a week or so and it happened again. I figured it was probably because they were crowded so I took them out of the brooder and put them in my 6 X 8 henhouse. All doing fine now. Go figure. That was a concern I have 2 feathereg maran chicks the babies are in my utility room seperate from the coup
