Accidental duck momma needs help with hatching

I have nothing useful to add but support, you seem to be doing an amazing job and these little birdies got a chance at life that they never would have had without your hard work and dedication!! Good job!

Your support is a wonderful thing to add! I have been trying to learn so much, so quickly that knowing I'm on the right track is reassuring! Thank you!

I was wondering, some of the babies look to be a mallard mix and some black sweeds or silkie. Multiple ducks could have laid in the same nest, so you never know. Time will tell

My momma mallard is hatching some babies herself. Just a few more days. Getting excited and nervous!!!!
Thanks for letting me know what type of ducks you think they are. Two were bought from a nearby hatchery (mallards) to keep the 2 wild ducks company. They are definitely happier as a foursome! Post pictures of your babies when they arrive if momma mallard lets you!

Sorry! I am technologically impaired. It was just a picture of the original 2 ducks and their 2 new buddies. I'll try again. Any input about the leg would be appreciated.
The leg? Is it the one on the left, the darkest one?

I think it will be exciting to see how they feather out, I can see the two mallards but the newbees will be exciting.

I will try my best with pictures!!!

From those pics, his foot looks FINE? Hes not using it at all? the injury has to be higher up.

The foot is being held open by a piece of electric tape. It looks normal to me too. He does put some weight on it now, but the leg does not extend like it should. To me it looks like something is out of place at the "knee" joint. (Sorry I don't know the correct term for the joint) The joint almost looks backwards or sideways compared to the left.

Send me a pic with his legs dangling down, this way I can compare the two..
