ah, I'd thought so because of the darker colouring. Ah well, unless Ginny miraculously turns out to be a boy no little Embden x Chinese running around

I am glad that you were able to find some babies to love. Don't continue to feel bad. I know how you feel, exactly. When I was a kid, I had a pet baby rat that was very very sweet, and I loved her. She was just weaned so she was really little. Small enough that she fit through the bars of her cage. Since she was so sweet, she kept trying to snuggle with me in the middle of the night. I kept putting her back, but I finally fell asleep....and woke up to a flat baby rat. I cried and cried, begging God to wake her up.
So yeah...sorry. You were just trying to love her.

I'm so sorry to hear about Maisy!

I feel so heartbroken for you. You can't blame yourself for this accident, though. It wasn't your fault in any way. Just a mistake. Things like this even happen to human babies sometimes, and it's tragic but the parents aren't to blame.

It's great to hear that you've got some new little friends to open your heart up to. They are so adorable! Having them to love and care for will help ease your pain.

You and little Maisy are in my thoughts. Hang in there.
