Add more chickens?

The last standard sized Buff Orp rooster I owned was killed by a Husky dog...Allen was the most docile bird I knew!

It makes me so sad to hear about dogs killing chicks...

Yes. Inside a city and neighborhood. My neighbors have chickens too and it’s more rural here so no issues with hens but roosters are a big no

I used to have family members who kept a rooster flock and one day a pack of wild dogs came and killed all of them. I wish I had pictures. One of them looked a lot like that guy!
