Added IP Camera to be able to check on chickens

Right now, at this very moment, I am watching a RAT in your coop.

Yes, we were mortified to see that yesterday. We thought it was one of the many chipmunks till we got a good look last night.

Any good ideas on trapping a rat without trapping or injuring one of our overly inquisitive hens?

Honestly, I'd catch it at the weekend, from a distance, with a BB gun. That's the only way I know for sure to remove the rat and not one of your chickens in error... I am eager for other suggestions though...

Thanks, the coop has evolved over the past year. BYC has been a great source of inforation and temptation.

I have a few things to change still. Who knows I may see more great ideas to try.

Here's my BCM coop cam. I plan on adding more cameras later and put them in the other coop and runs. I've really enjoyed checking in on them during the day at work.

I'm using a Foscam FI8918W. With with some perseverance and patience — I finally figured out how to make it all work.
