Adding A Cord Notch To A Vevor 25L Incubator, HELP!

My trusty ReptiPro 6000 died, and the ReptiPro company is no more, I guess. I ordered a new Vevor 25L incubator, which is basically the same thing.
But.
It's missing the VERY important cord notches that the ReptiPro had (see pictures below, the temp probes placed in the water weasels exit the unit where the notches are in the frame, on the left side--ignore the wire covering the racks in the second pic, I had an idea that flopped). The Vevor manual says there is a cord notch for their egg turner 'in the door frame, near the top'.
Nope.
Help me please, chicken friends! Without these notches, the temp probe cords would be damaged or cut when the door is closed. Anyone here have any experience cutting cord notches in a Vevor incubator? Much as I hate to do it on a brand new unit, the water weasel/temp probe method is VITAL where I live!
Thanks!

I am not familiar with this incubator, but did look it up on their website.
Are you using this for chickens,, or reptiles. I see that it is quite sealed unit.
This is what I would do.
Call the manufacturer and ask them exactly where that notch as they state, is. Say, your unit does not have it.

If your needs are to have incubator well sealed,, then just cut/grind out that notch to your needs.

You can also just drill a hole in side, and insert the wire thru hole. Then seal up the small opening with something like Playdough.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:

Yeah, I kinda figured I'd have to do something like that, and wondered if anyone else had done it and could guide me through it...much as I hate to maim a brand-new incubator!
And yes, chicken eggs. :)
What it DOES have is an exposed fan fitted to the top. It already bit me once when I was placing that hygrometer... :hmm
Luckily, that fan won't be a danger to the chicks, because all the eggs get shifted to the bottom of the unit come Lockdown Day.
