Adding a duck?

Hi. I'm wondering your opinions are on adding a duck to our small flock. We currently have 6 2 week old chicks (not sure what kind yet, but I think gold sex links). We have had the chicks for 1 week. We live in the north so it might be a while before they get out in the coop (still have a foot of snow). What do you think. Thanks!

If you want to venture into ducks I would get at least 2. Be warned, they can turn the smallest puddle into a large muddy mess. You will need a small pool at a minimum for them to keep their heads clean.

Yes! Everyone should have a couple ducks! They have the best personalities!!
