Administer Fish Mox

1yr old silkie roo.. About 2lbs. I have Fish Mox 250mg capsules. How do you administer it? Dissolve in water, syringe and force feed, or just how?
I know the dosage is 1/4 capsule 2x a day, but I tried to desolve it and most of it stuck to the sides of the dish and when I pull back the syringe plunger, I dont know how much to withdrawal

What are you using amoxicillin for? Amoxicillin dosage can be given up to 57 mg per pound. It is not water soluble, but you could mix it thoroughly in something like a small amount of plain yogurt, watery chick feed, watery peanut butter, and give 1/2 twice a day. That would be 125 mg per 2 pounds. Here is some dosing info:

He has been having very watery stool that is the smelliest ever!!! Little lethargic. I've been giving him medicatrd feed and rice soaked in butter milk. And water with rooster booster. 4days into this. He finally had a solid poop today followed by than, a very runny poop. I also administered ivermectin 3days ago.. I'm just think some fish mox incase it's an infection because I did notice some sneezing yesterday n this morning
