You can filter the threads based on prefix.

Some websites have an option to add a prefix to the thread. Here is an example of one in a BST forum of a fish website.

Then if you want to see all of the "want to buy" posts you click on the light blue button and then it looks like this:

If you try to create a thread in this section, you will have the option to select a prefix, and like I said earlier, threads can be filtered by prefix, which is a useful tool, IMO.
