7-8 days till babies!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last year they hatched on day 20. this year seems to be day 21. Not sure if incubator is running a bit colder with it being colder in my house so changing it from day 20 to 21 or if where they were eggs from someone else made a difference. Either way almost there!!!!!!!!

@junior67 can I ask how you’re setting your shipped eggs? I have seen so many articles recommending setting them upright in the incubator for the first 48 hours, or for a week, or for three weeks, and hatching upright, etc… lots of different methods. I just received my first batch of shipped hatching eggs yesterday and I’ll be setting them in the incubator today along with 8 from my own girls! This will also be my first time hatching with an incubator so fingers crossed 😅 going to use my girls’ eggs as a metric to gauge whether or not hatching success/failure is from my rookie incubator handling or the damage from shipping. Thanks!

Honestly I read so many things and many said it made no difference. These ones because of timing issues I only let rest pointy side down for about 8 hrs then put in my incubator as normal. Normally I let them rest 12 hrs then set as normal. So since I have an NR360 they lay on their sides and are turned from the start. I set extra this time so those were in egg cartons pointy side down, turned by hand for about 5-6 days and it didn't make a difference what I did on development.
