ADOR1 Automatic Coop Door?

I just finished installing my Ador1 and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!! I haven't programmed it yet to the open early close late setting, but the instruction manual makes it seem easy enough. I have to say: "Rod, you've done one heck of a job! I look forward to purchasing your accessories".

I opted for the recessed installation (Rod had the dimensions) and could not be happier. He has definitely won my business and my coop builder will be putting Ador1s in all of his chicken coops sold.

I highly suggest this door. I will post pics as soon as I can figure out how to do it from my phone.

Does the door seem strong enough to keep out a persistent predator? Like a bobcat.

I would think that a determined bobcat would chew/claw around it. I don't think the door itself can be pried open. It is opened by a sprocket (think gear driven) and doesn't budge. It is also seated in a channel when it's closed so lifting it up would be next to impossible. It is made entirely of metal so I wouldn't think that it could be chewed either. As far as a bobcat is concerned........sounds to me like you need a bigger dog.
