Advice needed. Running around like a chicken with...

To get her to open her mouth, gently pull her wattles down with left hand while gently 'lifting' her comb with your right hand. This is easiest for me to do when I "snuggle" her on my left side, kind of like cradling a football. When her mouth pops open, stuff one of your left hand fingers between her upper and lower beak.

Oh no! I am so overwhelmed and can't think straight. I picked her up straight and gently, no tilting or jerking. the projectile was immediate.

I’m not saying it was you... or even that it happened, just something to be careful with (I think I may have had that happen to one of my recent sick birds) and the clear fluid reminded me of it.

You’re doing fine. Remember to be calm and relaxed, they can pick up on our stress. Eggcessive is giving you very good advice.

Relax and just observe her and check her out a little at a time. I have accidentally made a chicken throw up, so we just wanted to suggest that as a possibility. If you can see a vet, that is always best. The main thing is to get her drinking, and try to figure out what is going on.

Think I figured out how to post pics. This was a fewish minutes after seeing her neck pulsating. I don't think this shows much. Scratch that. I can't get anything to work tonight.
