Advice needed. Running around like a chicken with...

Profile picture looks good too. Hoping that someone with more experience chimes in soon, as so far, I don't see anything wrong with your girl... she's really hiding this illness well. When did she lay her last egg?

I’m not saying it was you... or even that it happened, just something to be careful with (I think I may have had that happen to one of my recent sick birds) and the clear fluid reminded me of it.

You’re doing fine. Remember to be calm and relaxed, they can pick up on our stress. Eggcessive is giving you very good advice.
I am appreciative for the heads up! I have been a scrambled mess of eggs. All of her symptoms don't match up with her online pictures. She is my Fav(don't you dare tell the other girls)!

I can't say the last egg lay, they are all pumping them out like crazy. She is a brown layer and I have 4 brown layers so hard to tell. I think I found the booty pic!! Will post.
Yes, It is a mystery. I feel like that scary show w/ Mom making up illnesses on her baby girl.
There are too many things I don't know about chickens.

Best booty shot I could get today. She's inside with me now. Tomorrow I will be re-calling vets and listening to your advice. Thank you all so much!

I’m far from an expert, but if it were my girl, I would just allow her to rest on a soft towel near you. She will feel you near. Remember, you need to stay calm & keep your breathing calm. They react to us!!
My Harley had Ascites, an illness in older girls. She was breathing hard. We had several nights like this.... I drained the built up fluid from her abdomen. It helped relieve her for a short time. A couple of days later, she fell asleep in my arms.
