Advice Needed

Cinnamon (the injured hen) is still laying eggs regularly. My main concern right now is infection, so far the wound remains clean does not appear to be infected yet. I have been changing her bandage daily, cleansing the wound with saline solution and applying dressing and wrap. She is still drinking and eating normally. Although I have altered her diet, feeding her warm pellet mash, scrambled eggs, etc. Any advice on pain meds?

Cinnamon is improving big time. Her wound is shrinking in size, no infection...yet.

It seems like she is on the road to recovery. Getting some Triple on the wound early more than likely took care of any infection that might have started. If she is eating and drinking and acting normal, just keep on what you're doing until it is healed.

Hi Y'all! Cinnamon is doing great she is healing quite nicely, and feathers are starting to poke out.

Cinnamon is almost completely healed! I'm wondering if her feathers will grow back in around the scar.
