Advice needed

Help!! In the last 3 weeks I’ve had 2 hens die. Rapid weight loss and extra lovable then they pass within a few days. Was eating and drinking fine. No other symptoms. What should I do to protect the rest of my flock? So sad!!! Thanks for your help. I’ll be back later to check in.

I’m so sorry Have they ever been wormed? I would check for worms in their poop and check to see if they have an impacted crop. Were they laying eggs still?

Can you tell us how old they were, and if they were laying eggs recently? What were their droppings like? Did they have any respiratory problems or crop trouble? Examine your feed container in case of possible mold. Sorry for your loss. If you lose another chicken, keep the body cold, but not frozen, and send it ot your state vet for a necropsy.
