Advice on Dealing with Sandhill.

So I mailed in my order in May, they cashed my check in June and sent me an order confirmation. 7/14 was the last hatch day I indicated I would accept.

It's now 7/17 and no chicks this morning at the post office.

I sent an email asking if my order got cancelled for some reason and got no reply.

Has anyone else dealt with them? I really appreciate what they are trying to do, but.....
 
You'll receive a refund check and an apology letter very soon I suspect. Mine said that my desired breed went broody and they are very sorry they weren't able to fill the order.

I ordered EARLY in the year... I'm considering sending in next years order right now.

If you read the letter on their website, you'll understand better what they are going through and how they run things.
 
Considering I made four hatch dates available and offered two sub breeds, I'm pretty disappointed.

I don't think I will reorder next year.

There's another hatchery in IL that I'm going to try.
