We build a new coop! It's twice of the size of the old coupe and a lot nicer.Jack and Jill aren't doing real good.well we've been building the new coupe I've been taking them down and introducing them to the new area. Slowly activating them to the new yard thinking that they would become acquainted. To my surprise this evening not good. they screamed all evening, when I came in the house and are not very happy. I went down and walk them into the coop and came in and ate dinner and they were not happy they were still not settled. I don't know what to do? should I move them back into the old coupe or leave them where they are in the new coupe?

They have to get used to it sooner or later. When we get our new place in a few weeks, I am not going to let ours out of their coop for the first day or so.

It's just breaking my heart to listen to them cry I hope they settle down:hitI fenced-ina big fenced-in yard area for them so I could keep them pinned in cuz I knew I'd have to keep them in an area for a week or so.

They are going to have to adjust. Ducks are like us old men. We do not like change. I feed both cut up water melon for treats and on the Rhine when I want to keep them busy. They were disappointed when I gave them cut watermelon yesterday as they are used to peas and mealworms when they see me. They got over it and ate the watermelon when I was not looking.

Do they eat crickets I bought a bag of crickets from the feed store, but I'm not sure if they will eat them.what about Blueberries, raspberries, cherries with the seeds taken out, how about cantaloupe?

So I made up a small pan of sort of like mixed berries and fruits! I :hecannot get these crazy ducks to eat them. They just walked by and look at it sideways like a pan of poison! :barnieThey are now hiding behind the little swimming pool between and the fence..so is there a certain age when they start eating something other than duck food maybe I'm missing something I've read :cafpost I've, research maybe I'm just a doting mother..:hugs
