Hatching
Hello, I am a new member & new to raising ducklings. My ducklings are 3 weeks old today & have been growing well however 1,Duckie, seems to have a weak/pigeon toed leg.
Sunday was the first day I was able to start providing a poultry vitamin & electrolyte water soluble solution that contains niacin. I'm concerned that with the mess the ducklings make of their water, what if Duckie isn't getting enough niacin to help her legs?
After letting them swim/bathe I dry them off with a blow dryer, but it takes me longer because I like to sit and hold Duckie so she has some stability while she is preening (it breaks my heart watching her trip & fall over). Are there any sort of exercises I can do to help her straighten & strengthen her leg without hurting her?
